Rev. Glenn S. Brewster, 75,
husband of Mrs. Elta Zimmerman
Brewster of Cayuga and
former minister at Wall Street
Methodist Church died Friday
at Auburn Memorial Hospital
after a short illness.
A native of Union Springs, the
R«v. Mr. Brewster graduated
from Syracuse University in 1914
and received his B.D. degree
from Drew University in 1925.
He was supply minister for Wall
Street Methodist Church from
1961-63. He had been retired
since 1963.
Prior to coming to Auburn he
served churches in Avoca, Pa.,
Lawrencevllle, Pa., Galeton,
Pa., Westfleld.-Pa,-Savona,
Troupsberg, C u b a , Hartland,
West Barr and East Bloom-
field.
Surviving besides his widow
are four sons, Gordon of Williamson,
Stanley L. of Auburn,
Rev. James N. Brewster of
North Syracuse and Rev. John
N .Brewster of Canisteo; a brother,
Floyd Brewster of Tuscon,
Ariz.; four grandchildren;, a
great-grandson and a niece.
Funeral services will be at 2
p.nu Tuesday at the Langham
Funeral Home, Rev. Leon Northrop
of Wall Street Methodist-
Church and Rev. Stanley Skinner
of Syracuse officiating. Burial
will be in Chestnut Hill
Cemetery, Union Springs.
Friends may call from 3 to 5
p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday
and from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday
at the funeral home.
