Mrs. T. Burton Taylor. 73rd Street, announces
the engagement of her daughter,
Miss Barbara Taylor, to Robert E. Brick,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brick. 30th
Street. Miss Taylor is the daughter of the
late Mr. Taylor.
A July wedding is planned.

MISS BARBARA E. TAYLOR and Robert E.
Brick were united m marriage Saturday (July 15,
1961) in a double-ring ceremony performed by Rev.
F. W. House at the First Methodist Church.
The former Miss Taylor is the daughter of Mrs.
T. Burton Taylor, 73rd.Street, and the late Mr. Taylor.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brick, 30th Street, are the parents
of the bridegroom.
Mrs. E a r l McCormack
was organist with Carl F.
Heywang as soloist.
GIVEN IN marriage by
her brother, Floyd B. Taylor,
the bride wore a gown
of silk organza and rosepoint
lace featuring a scalloped
Sabrina neckline, fitted
bodice and long, tapered
sleeves. Her skirt, trimmed
with lace and cabbase
roses, fell to a chapel-length
train.
A pillbox headpiece of
shirred silk organza and
Alencon lace held her triple
silk illusion veil. The bridal
bouquet was of white feathered
carnations centered
with a while orchid.

MISS .BEVERLY A.
BATES, wearing a white
street length dress of chiffon
crepe, was maid of
honor. Her headpiece was
a bandeau of silk flowers
with a circular veil and she
carried a cascade of garnet
roses and ivy.
Gowned similarly to the
honor attendant were the
bridesmaids, Mrs. Fred B.
LaDue, sister of the bride,
and .Mrs. Floyd R'. Taylor.
The best man was Richard
F. Gross. Fred R. La Dire
and Arthur L. Selover ushered.
