William A. Brick, Jr., 16, of 228
Thompson St., a junior at North
Tonawanda High School, died yesterday
in Kenmore Mercy Hospital
after a short illness.
He was a lifelong resident of
North Tonawanda and a graduate
of Ascension Parochial School.
Bill was a member of the NTHS
varsity football team this year but
did not see action in any of the
regular games because of an arm
fracture received in pre-season
practice. He was active in school
programs and very popular among
his' classmates, Principal George
L. Lowry said this morning.
Surviving besides his parents,
William. Sr., and Florence Sequin
Brick, are two sisters, Mrs. William
Jacques and Miss Phyllis
Brick, all of North Tonawanda.
Funeral services will be held in
the Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam
St., at 8:30 a.m. Monday and in
Ascension Church at 9 a.m., the
Rev. Francis Hunt officiating. Burial
will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery
