PHELPS-Mrs. Edith M. Peake, 93,
of Park St., died at Elm Manor Nursing
Home in Canandaigua yesterday
evening after a long illness.
Friends may call at the Eacker
Funeral Home Friday from 2-4 and 7-9
p.m.
The funeral will be Saturday at 2
p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev.
Leonard Hackney of the United Church
of Phelps will officiate. Burial will be
In Rest Haven Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be
made to the Phelps Voluntary Ambulance
Service.
Mrs. Peake was born June 21, 1884,
in Seneca County and lived in the
Phelps area for over 87 years. She was
the widow of Stephen Peake, who died
In 1930. She was a member of the
United Church of Phelps and retired in
1965 from the Seneca Kraut and
Pickling Company in Phelps.
Surviving are one son, LaVerne of
Phelps; four grandchildren; eight
great-grandchildren; and several
nieces and nephews.

GENEVA - The funeral for Miss
Elizabeth J. Hamill, of 158 High St.,
who died unexpectedly Tuesday in
Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester,
was this morning at 10 a m in St.
Stephen's Church. The Rev. John
Quinn. pastor, was celebrant of the
Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will
be in Groton at the convenience of the
family.
Bearers were William Hastings and
Donald Dobbin.
