NORTH TONAWANDA-A funeral sevice for George M. Belling, 77, of 7422 Shawnee Road, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Hamp Funeral Home. The Rev. Luther L. Knauff will officiate. Burial will be in White
Chapel Memorial Park.
Mr. Belling died Saturday night (Nov. 17, 1968) in Veterans Administration Hospital, Buffalo, after a long illness. He was born in the Town of Amherst and resided in the
Town of Wheatfield most of his life; He formerly was employed by the Carborundum Co. in Niagara Falls and Wheatfield for 20 years. He retired in 1956.
Mr. Belling was a World War I Army veteran, and a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church. His wife, the former Josephine Knoell, died in December 1966 in an automobile accident. Survivors include three sons, Paul, of Marlboo, Conn., George of
Charleston, W. Va., and Theodore of this city; two daughters, Ms. William Grove of Geneseo, N.Y., and Miss Dorothy Belling of Kensington, Md.; a brother, Carl and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Sattelburg and Mrs. Gertrude Denef, all of the Town of Amherst, and 14 grandchildren.
