Benedict A. (Benny) Brindisi, 65, of
719 South S t . owner of Ben's Restaurant
at South Street and
Webster Avenue
until 1965, was pronounced
dead on
arrival Monday in
St. Luke's-Memori
al HospitaLCenter.
Morgan Jones,
coroner, attributed
death to natural
causes.
Mr. Brindisi had
most recently been
employed as a fork lift operator for the
Bossert Manufacturing Co.. retiring in
November.
He was born in Utica and attended
ocal schools. He married Theresa Musa
in 1940.
Besides his wife and his mother. Mrs.
Fred (Josephine) Brindisi, he leaves a
son, Anthony Brindisi; two daughters,
Mrs. Richard (Josephine) BiaJek and
Miss Shirley Brindisi, three brothers,
Rosario, Salvatore and Anthony Brindisi
and two sisters, Mrs. Joseph
(Theresa) Troper and Mrs. Richard
(Rose) Clair, all of Utica.
The funeral .will be at 8:30 Friday
from the Matt Funeral Home and at 9
from St. Mary of Mt. Carmel Church,
where a Mass of christian burial will be
offered. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today
and tomorrow.
