Miss Lucille L. Lattimer became
the bride of Franklin J Britt on
June 28 at 10:10 In the morning
In St, James Catholic Church,
Wiverly before an altar decorated
with palms, white gladioli and
fern. The double-ring ceremony
was performed by the Rev.
Charles McCarthy, assistant pastor.
* The bride Is tbe daughter of
Mrs. Christine Lattimer and the
late Clyde Latttmer of Waverly.
The bridegroom Is the son of Mr.
aad Mrs. Thomas Britt of 39 Prlscllla
Lane.
Escorted to the altar by her
brother. Clyde Lattimer Jr., the
bride wore a gown of lace and
nylon tulle over satin fashioned
with full pleated front skirt with
beaded ruffle through the center
lace panel in the center back
train. The gown featured a sabrlna
neckline and long lace
sleeves. Medallions were scattered
throughout the full side
train.
Her fingertip scalloped edged
veil fell from a small crown headpiece.
She carried a bouquet of
white sweetheart rose* centered
with white carnations She carried
a crystal rosary, a gift of the
bridegroom.
Miss Joanne Francis of Elmlra,
cousin of the bride, was maid
of honor. She wore a lavender nylon
lace, ballerina-length, princess
style gown This was complemented
by a matching crown headpiece
with nose veil. She carried
a bouquet of yellow roses.
Miss Barbara Francis of Elmlra,
cousin of the bride, Mrs. Mary
Titus and Miss Ann Garfield, both
of Waverly, as bridesmaids. were
identically attired to that of the
maid of honor in yelow, mint
green and light blue respectively.
The Junior bridesmaid, Miss Linda
Forsyth, niece of the bridegroom,
wore a floor-length gown
of pink net and lace. She carried
a nosegay of pink roses..
Elizabeth Forsyth, niece of the
bridegroom, was flower girl in a
dress identical to that of the jun-
ior bridesmaid. She carried a nose-
gay of pink roses.
William D. Britt acted as best
man for his brother. Ushering the
guests were George Porter, Robert
Anderson and John Forsyth,
all of Lockport. Stuart Allen Titus
of Waverly was ring bearer.
Mrs. Lattimer chose for her
daughter's wedding a light blue
silk and lace dress with white
accessories. The bridegroom's
mother favored a beige silk shan-
tung dress and white accessories.
Both mothers wore corsages of
white sweetheart roses.
A wedding breakfast was served
the bridal party at 12 30 at the
Iron Kettle Inn, Waverly. The reception
was held from 2 in the
afternoon to 5 In the evening at
the American Legion Home, Waverly.
When the couple left for the Catskills,
the bride was wearing a
Dior blue linen chemise suit with
white accessories and an orchid
corsage. The couple is residing at
209 Cheung St, Waverly.
The bride is a graduate of Tioga
Central School,, Tioga Center and
is empoyed by the New York Bell
Telephone Co.,, Waverly. The
bridegroom was graduated from
Newfane Central School, served
three years during the Korean
conflict and is employed by the
New York State Police, stationed
at Waverly.
