The marriage of Miss Margaret
M. Bronson, daughter of Mr. snd
Mrs. Stanley D. Bronson, of 330
East avenue, to Private First
Class John C. Michno, son of Mr.
John Michno of Main street, was
solemnized Saturday, March 3, at
10 a. m. in St Francis Rectory.
The Rev. Francis Trapp officiated.
The bride, given in marriage
by her father, wore a long graceful
white satin gown, with a
finger tip veil of illusion. She
carried a shower bouquet of gardenias,
narcissus and carnations
tied with white satin streamers.
Mrs. George T. Bradley, sister
of the bride was the matron of
honor, and Miss Julia Horvath
acted as maid of honor. They
were attired in blue and aqua
gowns, respectively, fashioned
similar to the brides'. Both carried
arm bouquets of red roses,
tied with yellow streamers.
Henry Bronson was best man
for his brother, and Edward Rozicki
was usher.
Immediately following the ceremony
a wedding breakfast was
held tor the families at the home
of the bride. In the evening a reception
for friends and relatives
honored the young couple.
Pfc. Michno is home on a 30
day furlough after having spent
14 months overseas in the European
Theater of War. Upon completion
of his furlough he will go
back to the Kennedy General
Hospital to receive treatment for
wounds suffered at the front in
France.
