Miss Carole J. Klein became the
b r i d e of Pfc. Robert W. Scheonborn,
son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph
L. scheonborn of Boston In a Sunday
afternoon service, April 22, hi
St James Evangelical Church. The
Rev P Walter Meisenhelmer per
formed the double ring ceremony
before the ajtar. which was adorned
with baskets of white calla lilies
and gladioli.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs.
Charles J. Klein of North Boston
and the late Mr. Klein.
Given in marriage by her brother
Frederick C. Klein, the bride
wore a gown of white satin, fashioned
with fitted bodice and long
pointed sleeves, embroidered with
seed pearls, and a full skirt which
terminated in a cathedral length
train. Her fingertip veil of illusion
fell from a tiara of seed pearls and
rhinestones and she carried a colonial
bouquet of white roses, centered
with orchids.
Mrs. Alfred M. Brooks was her
sisters only attendant. Her gown
was of white marquisette over
aqua taffeta, made with bouffant
skirt and enhanced with a sash of
the aqua taffeta. She wore short
gauntlets of marquisette, a picture
hat adorned with aqua flowers and
carried a colonial bouquet of yellow
roses.
A cousin of the bridegroom, Donald
E. Hanna, was best man and
ushers were Vernon F. Massing,
Alfred M. Brooks and Ellsworth
F. Hanna.
The bride's mother was attired
hi a gown of shrimp colored lace
with blue accessories and the mother
of the bridegroom was In
mauve lace and chiffon with lilac
accessories. Both wore corsages of
talisman roses.
The wedding dinner was served
in Hotel Hamburg.
The bride had as her going-away
outfit a plum colored suit with
grey accessories. She wore a corsage
of orchids.
