Helen Lorraine to Mr. Howard
Brooks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Brooks of 288 Niagara street. North
Tonawanda. The wedding will
take place in October.

Miss Helen Sauberan, daughter
of Mr. and Mrs, Clayton Sauberan
of 83 Steiner avenue, was
united in marriage to Mr. Howard
Brooks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry
Brooks of 288 Niagara street at 3
o'clock on Saturday, October 9,
at St. Mark's church* the Rev.
Kelleran officiating. The church
was decorated with fall flowers
and palms.
The bride, who was_ given in
marriage by her father, was gowned
in white satin fashioned on
princess lines with a long train,
and the high neckline was trimmed
with tiny pearls. Her long
veil of tulle was made in a coronet
effect She carried an arm
bouquet of St. Joseph lilies.
Miss E\ra Supparits, who was
maid of honor, wore a gown of
pink moire and carried a bouquet
of roses and baby breath. She
wore a halo band of silver flowers
in her hair.
The bridesmaids, Mrs. Joseph
de Kehoe, sister of the bride,
wore Dusty Rose taffeta and Miss
June Brooks, sister of the groom,
green taffeta. Each wore a halo
band of silver flowers in their
hair and carried nosegays of roses.
Elaine Sauberan, niece of the
bride, was flower girl, wearing a
dress of peach net. She wore a
halo band of flowers in her hair
and carried a nosegay of roses
and pom poms.
Gene Heppner, nephew of the
groom, was ring bearer.
Mr. William La Fleur attended
the groom as best man and the
ushers were Mr. Joseph de Kehoe
and Mr. William Pardue.
Mrs. Sauberan, mother of the
bride, wore green crepe and Mrs.
Brooks, the groom's mother, wood
violet crepe. Each wore a shoulder
corsage of roses.
Following the ceremony, a wedding
dinner for thirty guests was
held at the Delaware hotel. A r e ception
for one hundred guests
was held in the evening at the
home of t h e bride.
Among the out of town guests
were Mr. Clayton Sauberan of
New York City, Mrs. Edward
Widmer, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Winters,
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Brooks,
Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kozak, Mr.
and Mrs. Frank Wienang, Mr. and
Mrs. R. Smith, Miss Augusta Tock,
Miss Helen Post and Mr. Charles
Lahey of Buffalo, Mr. and Mrs.
Francis McAlee of Niagara Falls,
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Keiffer of
