The marriage of Miss Florence
Marion Beegle, of this city, and Mr.
Gordon Lewis Brooks was quietly
solemnized Friday afternoon at 2:30
o'clock at the home of the parents
of the bridegroom, Mr. and Mrs.
Galen P. Brooks, of Eighty-seventh
street. The Rev. J. Melvln Keys,
pastor of the Riverside Presbyterian
church, officiated at the ceremony.
The bride wore a becoming suit of
blue with corsage of orchids and
Talisman rosebuds. Her sister. Miss
Grace E. Beegle. of Melrose, Mass.,
as her maid of honor, wore a frock
of soldier blue with corsage of pink
rosebuds.
Mr. Norman Brooks, of this city,
was his brother's best man.
After the reception which followed
the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs.
Brooks left for a short trip to New
York City. Upon their return they
will reside in South Eighty-sixth
street.
Among the out-of-town guests
attending the wedding and reception
were Mr. and Mrs. William B.
Knowles. of Cleveland Heights,
Ohio: Mrs. Marlon Sherman, daughters
Pay and Miriam, of Lockport,
and Mrs. Harry Strohm, of Rochester.
