The' marriage of Miss Dorothy
Mae Royce, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Warren Royce of Tonawanda,
to Warren E. Brooks, son of Mr.
and Mrs. Norris Brooks of 483
Walnut St.. Lockport, was solemnized
Jan. 7 at 12 Noon In St.
Mark's Episcopal Church, the Rev.
Bernard Campbell officiating at the
double-ring ceremony.
The bride, given in marriage by
her father, wore a. white moire
taffeta gown with a short train.
Her bridal veil of tulle was arranged
from a satin off-face headdress
with orange blossoms. She
carried an arm bouquet of white
roses.
The matron of honor, Mrs. Norman
Bower of Lockport, wore pink
taffeta with a net headdress and
carried pink roses. The bridesmaids,
the Misses Mildred Godfrey
of Buffalo and Erma Miller of
Tonawanda, wore green taffeta
gowns with net headdresses. They
carried arm bouquets of tea roses,
tied with green. The flower girl.
Patsy Happel of Buffalo, wore a
peach taffeta Colonial dress and
carried a Colonial bouquet.
Ushers were Norman Bower and
Stanley Walker. The groom was attended
by Emory Wall of Lockport.
A luncheon was held for the
bridal party at Johnston's Tea
Room, Buffalo, following the ceremony.
A reception was held at the
home of the bride's parents.
