SCHUBEL - John C. Schubel of
Wolcottsville, N. Y , passed away
suddenly in Lockport, N. Y.,
March 30, 1957. Beloved husband
of Louise (nee Bruning) Schubel,
father of Mrs. Albert Hendrick of
Lockport. N. Y.. Earl of Akron,
N Y.. Carl of Wolcottsville. N. Y.;
also leaves five grandchildren.
Friends may call at the family
residence. WolcottsvUle, N. Y.,
where prayer service will be held
Tuesday at 2 o'clock, funeral from
St. Michael's Lutheran Church.
Wolcottsville, at 2.30 p.m. Interment
in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery,
West Shelby, the Rev. Hllbert
Huth officiating.

John C. Schubel, 70, of Wolcottsville,
died unexpectedly Saturday
afternoon (March 30, 1957) at the
home of Mrs. Fred Sy at 15 South
St.. Lockport.
Mr. Schubel and his wife, the
former Louise Bruning, had
stopped there to pay a call when
he suffered a heart attack. The
Lockport Fire Department responded
with an inhalator, but
Mr. Schubel failed to respond.
Born at Wolcottsville Sept. 24,
1886, he lived in Wolcottsville all
of his life and retired two years
ago from the National Gypsum Co.
because of ill health.
He was educated at the Lutheran
Parochial School in Wolcottsville
and was a member of St. Michael's
Lutheran Church.
Besides his wife, Mr. Schubel
leaves one daughter, Mrs. Albert
Hendrich of Lockport, and two
sons, Carol of Wolcottsvile and
Earl of Akron.
Services will be held at t h e
Schubel home in Wolcottsville at
2 tomorrow afternoon and at St.
Michael's Church at 2:30. The
Rev. Hubert Huth will officiate.
Burial will be in Mt Pleasant
Cemetery, West Shelby.
