MIDDLEPORT - A former
stock ckerk at the H. J. Heinz
Co., Medina, Fred S. Schleef, 49,
of Shelby Center, died Friday
evening (Aug. 14,, 1959) in Strong
Memorial Hospital, Rochester.
He was born April 7, 1910 in
Canada son of the Rev. Fred-
erick S. and Emma Gehrke
Schleef. Mr. Schleef resided with
his parents after hi wife,, the
former Irene Bruning died in
1945. After Rev. Schleef retired
aspastor of St. Michael's Lutheran
Church, Wolcottsville, about 10
years ago they moved to Shelby
Center.
Mr. Schleef was a member of
St Michael's Church.
Besides his parents he is sur-
vived by two daughters, Mrs.
Keith Freeman of Middleport and
Mrs, Calvin Witkop of Wolcotts-
vflfcn two brothers, Theodore and
Norman Schleef, both of Wolcottsville,
eat Sister, Mrs. George Kelly
of Silver Creek; four grandchildren
sad several nieces and nep-
news.
Friends may call from 3 to 5
and 7 to 9 at the Wallace and
Heath Funeral Home, Middleort
where services will be hed Mon-
day afternoon at 2. The Rev. Hil-
bert Huth will officiate. Burial
will be in St.. Michael's Ceme-
tery, Wolcottsville.
