MIDDLEPORT- Mrs. Rosella
Bruning Kroening, 66, of Fisk
Rd.. Town of Royalton died Wednesday
(Oct. 10, 1956) in Lockport
Memorial Hospital after a
lingering illness. She was the wife
of John L. Kroening, who operates
a farm at the Fisk Rd. address.
Born Aug. 1, 1890, in the Town
of Royalton, Mrs. Kroening was
the daughter of Henry and Augusta
Reimer Bruning. She was a
member of Trinity Lutheran
Church, Lockport, and has resided
in this vicinity all her life.
In addition to her husband,
surviving are a son, Roy J. Kroening,
and a daughter, Miss Dorothy
Kroening, both of Town of Royalton;
one grandson; three brothers,
Erwin Bruning, Albion, Ferdinand
Bruning, Medina, and Siegfried
Bruning, this. village; five sisters,
Mrs. Jennie Schilling and Mrs.
Ella Laatsch, both of this village,
Mrs. Viola Hendrich, Town
of Royalton, Mrs. Howard Stern,
Royalton Center, and Mrs. Clarence
Reaboldt, Lockport; and several
nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2-4 and
7-9 p.m. at the Wallace & Heath
Funeral Home where services will
be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday
by tbe Rev. Ernest E. Heuer of
Trinity Church. Burial will be in
Royalton Mountain Ridge Cemetery.
