Vincent Buffamonte, 37. of 574
76th St., a night shift worker at
the Du Pont plant, died suddenly
at his home last night (Apri.l 6,
1955), shortly before he was to
have gone to work.
He had decided to rest for a
while before leaving and was
found unconscious by his wife when
she went to arouse him about 11:30
p.m. He was pronounced dead
by a physician after a Fire Depart-
ment ihhalator squad tried for 10
minutes to revive him, Cause of
death was undetermined.
Mr. Buffamonte had served with
the U. S. Marine Corps during
World War II, and was a mem-
ber of the Marine Corps League.
He was a native of this city and
had worked at Du Pont for the
last eight years. He was a mem-
ber of both the Du Pont Bowling
League and the Industrial Bowling
League.
Surviving are his wife,- Mrs.
Teresa Buffamonte; three sons.
Vincent Jr., Thomas and Edward
Buffamonte; two sisters, Miss Stella
and Miss Josephine Buffamonte,
and a brother, Dominick Buffa-
monte all of this city,
Funeral services will be held at
the SpaIlino Funeral Home at 9
a.m. and at- the Prince of Peace
Church at 9:30 a.m. on Monday.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's
Cemetery.
