Sarah Addie Bryant Champion
Funeral for Sarah Addie Bryant Champion, 85, of Decatur will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Cagle and the Rev. Buddy Mitchell officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 5 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Champion died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, at her home. She was born Jan. 25, 1917, in Newport, Tenn., to Joseph Bryant and Laura Kyker Bryant. She was a Baptist and a Sunday School teacher. She was also a volunteer at a children's clinic.
Survivors include her husband, Millard Champion; one daughter, Mary Knox of Decatur; one stepson, Billy Joe Champion of Decatur; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Valley or Save a Life.
