John E. Schul, 63, formerly
of 2418 Weston Ave., a retired
National Carbon stone
mason, died Friday (Jan. 28,
1966) in Youngstown, Ariz,
after a long illness.
He was born in Niagara
Falls Nov. 17, 1902, the son
of Charles and Christiana
Schul. He was a lifelong resi-
dent and retired in 1960 from
the National Carbon Co. after
23 years service. He moved
to Arizona in 1962.
Mr. Schul was a past president
of Bricklayers Local No.
2 and a member of the Loyal
Order of Moose and Zion
Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his widow,
V i o l e t Smith Schul; three
s i s t e r s , Mrs. John (Anna)
Skivington, Mrs. Charles B.
(Genevieve) Wright and Mrs.
Stephen (Elizabeth) Lamb, all
of Niagara Falls, and a brother,
George Frederick Schul,
Oloquete, Minn.
Another brother, Charles
Schul, a city plumbing inspector,
died in 1959.
Services will be held at the
Rhoney Funeral Home at
time to be announced. Burial
will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
