Private funeral services for
John W. Buchhardt will be held
at 4:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon
in the chapel at White Chapel Me
mortal park on Niagara Falls boulevard,
near Bush's bridge.
Rev. Theodore Mayer of Frieden's
church, of which the deceased
was a member, will officiate.
Burial will be made in White
Chapel park.
Mr. Buchhardt, who was 31
years old and resided at 128 Rumbold
avenue, was drowned Sunday
afternoon in Lake Erie, off
Cleveland, O., when he fell overboard,
while on a cabin cruiser.
The body was recovered yesterday
morning at Cleveland and brought
to North Tonawanda late last
night.
Besides his wife, Winifred, and
a son, Warren, Mr. Buchhardt is
survived by his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. George Buchhardt and a sister,
Mrs. Norman Oelkers, all of
North Tonawanda.
His father is assistant fire chief
in North Tonawanda.
