Mount Olive Lutheran
Church, Lockport, was the
setting Saturday, July 26,
1969 when Miss Linda Lurene
Mason became the
bride of Wayne Norman
Shutt.
Parents of the bride are
Mr. and Mrs. George B.
Mason of 6623 Bear Ridge
Road, Lockport, and the
bridegroom's parents are
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Villella
of "751 East Market St.,
Lockport.
Assorted flowers decorated
the church for the 11
a.m. rite. The 8Rev. David
Albertin officiated. Organist
was Mrs. P. Crossan and
John Crossan, soloist.
When given in marriage
by her father, the bride
wore a French lace icage silhouette
over peau de soie
gown having an A-line skirt
lace cage flowing into a full
chapel train, a scalloped
edge lace batteau neckline
and elbow - length sleeves.
A full-length mantilla headpiece
was bordered with a
wide band of French lace.
She carried a cascade of
white roses.
Miss Karen Mason was
maid of honor to her sister
and wore a gown of nile
green hue; Mrs. Bonnie
Reele, cousin of the bride,
served as matron of honor
wearing a baby blue dress.
Bridesmaids were Miss
Grace Pfeufer, Mrs. Betty
Casad, Miss Gail Duscher
and Miss Connie Stamp.
Attendants were attired
in floor-length nylon
crepe Victorian style gowns
trimmed in cotton lace.
Their headpieces were composed
of floral wreaths with
cascading ribbons. Each
Michael Heuck served as
best man. Ushering were
Louis Reele, cousin of the
bride; Robert Watts, Wayne
Mason, the bride's brother;
James McNaboe and David
Wright.
A dinner took place at the
Fieldstone Inn Lockport. A
reception was held at Wendelville
Social Hall Wendelville.
After a trip to Montreal
Canada, the couple will
make their future home at
34 South Bristol Ave. Lockport.
The bride was graduated
from Starpoint Central
School and Sisters of Charity
Hospital, School of X-Ray
Technology Buffalo. A
Lockport Senior High School
graduate the groom served
with the U..S Navy and is
employed by Harrison Radiator
Division, General Motors
Corp.
