A very pretty wedding took place
at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon, Aug.
27, when Miss Emma Buck of 1627
Pierce avenue, become the bride of
Glynn Wilson, 2537 Mang avenue.
LaSalle, at the Trinity Luthernn
church, South avenue, the Rev. M. C.
Kretzman performing the doublo ring
ceremony.
The bride, who was given In marriage
by her brother, Wllllnm Buck,
looked very lovely In a white georgette
gown trimmed with silk lace
around the bodice and hanging In ripples
at bottom of skirt. Tho beautiful
ear rings and coronet of orange
blossoms which trimmed the bride's
long veil were tho same worn by her
mother at her wedding. She carried
n shower bouquet of white roses and
baby breath.
Miss Lucille Reeves was the maid
of honor and wore a gown of peach
colored taffeta with tight bodice and
bouffant skirt, and a band of silver.
loaves around her hair. She carried
a bouquet of pink roses. Tho best
man was Howard Rhody of Griffon
street, LnSallo.
Miss Florence Kygend gowned In
lavendar taffeta and Miss Dorothy
Hurst In old rose taffeta were tho
bridesmaids. Their dresses were mndo
With tight bodices and bouffant skirts
and they nlso wore bands of silver
leaves around their hutr. They carried
bouquets of pink roses.
Tho ushers were Howard Allen nnd
Barton Lnnkln of L-'iSnllc.
Miss Jano Buck, niece of the brldo.
was flower girl and looked adorable in
a peach colored crepe dress trimmed
with rows of tiny ruffles nnd her curls
were held in place by two bands of
brilliants. She carried A colonial bouquet.
Tho ring bearer. Master Robert
Junior Pearson, nephew of the groom,
was dressed in a While satin waist and
black velvet trousers and carried the
rings on a white satin pillow.
While the wedding march from
Ixjhongrln was played by William
Bucholl tho bridal party proceeded
down the aisle and as they approach-
ed the altar, Mrs. Robert C. Pearson,
Jr. a sister of the groom, sang "I Love
You Truly," by Carrie Jacobs Bond.
After the ceremony a dinner was
served at the home of the bride's
mother. Covers were laid for 12 guests
at the bride's table which was centered
with the wedding cake.
The out of townn guest was Mrs.
Joseph Strohm of Wilsonville, Ont.,
grandmother of the groom.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilson are motoring
to Toronto and Wilsonville, Ont.,, and
will be at home at 1527 Pierce avenue
after Sept. 12.
