LYNDONVILLE - Marvin G.
Buckland, 83, of Alps Road,
died at the home of his daughter,
Mrs. Merrill Lonnen, early
Sunday morning (March 21,
1965). He had been in failing
health for the past year.
Born in the Town of Gaines,
Dec. 12, 1881, he was the son
of William and Catherine
Grapes Buckland. All of his
adult life had been spent in the
Lyndonville area where he had
engaged in farming. For many
years he operated his own
threshing machinery.
He was married to Harrlet_B,
Helsdon Jan 21, 1914. She died
in July 1953.' - .
Surviving are a son, Robert
Buckland; a daughter, Mrs.
Grace Lonnen; nine grandchildren;
two great - grandchildren;
and a sister, Mrs. Charles
Plummer, ail of Lyndonville.
Funeral services will be held
tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. at the
Smythe Funeral Home, conducted
by the Rev. George Engle of
Yates Baptist Church. Burial
will be in Lyrihaven Cemetery.
Calling hours are from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
