A requiem Mass will be
offered at 9:15 a.m. Thursday
in Sacred Heart Cathedral for
Leslie Buckley, 61, pioneer
motor bus operator here, following
prayers at the Robert,
J. Poole Funeral Home, 1305
Dewey Ave., at 8:45 a.m.
Mr. Buckley, who was born
in Brighton, died Sunday (Dec.
3, 1961) at Park Avenue Hos-
pital after a brief illness. His
home was at 500 Rumson
Road
He started his bus line on
Lake and Ridge Road west of
Parma and Hilton in 1918 and
continued it until 1925 when
he sold out to the New York
State Railways, later the Roch-
ester Transit Corp.
From 1925 to 1940 he op-
erated the Hilton Service Co.,
an oil firm, and since 1940
had been foreman of the East-
man Kodak Co. garage.
He leaves his widow, Mrs.
Marian Lark Buckley; two sis-
ters, Mrs. Walter Burns and
Mrs. John A. Lamb,, and two
brothers, J. Lloyd Bucklley
and Linton Buckley. Burial
will be in Holy Sepulchre
Cemetery.
