Timothy J. Buckley, 45, of
Upper Albany St., Frankfort,
died last night in St. Joseph's
Hospital in Syracuse after an
illness of two weeks.
Mr. Buckley was born in
Utica on Aug,. 4, 1915, son of
Ida Vaeth' Buckley and Michael
Buckley. He was a graduate
of Utica Free Academy,
Class of 1933. Since his graduation
he had been a partner
in the Buckley Cigarette Service.
He married Doris Weeks of
West, Miss on Jan. 14, 1946
in St. Agnes Church. During
World War II he served with
the Army Air Corps. He was
a member of S t Patrick's
Church, Clayville and of its
Holy Name Society. ,
He also was a member of
the Frankfort Center Volunteer
Fire Department and of
Whitestowh Post 1113, American
Legion.
' Surviving besides his wife
and mother are a daughter,
Linda N.. and a son. Timothy
James, both at home; two sis
ters, Miss Mary E. Buckley,
and Mrs. Charles McLeary,
both of Utica; three brothers,
John C. and Eugene M., both
of Utica, and W. Gerald, New
Hartford; several nieces and
nephews, -
The funeral will be at 8:15
Saturday from the Ortner Fu
neral Home, 130 Eagle St.,
and at 9 from St. Patrick's
Church, Clayville, where a re
quiem high Mass will be offered.
Burial will be in Cal
vary Cemetery.
Friends may call at the fu
neral home tomorrow and Friday
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9.
