The Rev. Samuel Lombardo officiated at the
wedding ceremony at 10 Saturday morning, Feb. 8
1964 at St. Joseph's Church when Miss Judith Ann
Yanicki became the bride of Airman 3.C James
Marshall Eyre. Baskets of Fuji chrysanthemums
and snapdragons adorned the altar for the Nuptial
Mass.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley
Yanicki of 4283 Purdy
Road, Lockport. The groom
is the son of Mrs. Frank
Laney of San Clemente,
Calif, and Richard F. Eyre
of Pasadena, Calif.
A brocade floor - length
gown was the choice of the
bride when given in mar-
riage by her father. Fash-
ioned with a round neckline
and fitted bodice, the gown
was created with a bell-
shaped skirt which terminat-
ed in a chapel length train.
A petal lace crown with
pearls and crystal teardrops
held her five - tiered veil
of silk illusion and she car-
ried a cascade bouquet of
white Fuji chrysanthemums
and lilies of the valley with
accents of ivy.
FUJI MUMS
Miss Sandy Carlin of
Lockport served as the
bride's honor attendant in a
floor-length gown of lucien
blue fashioned with a bell-
shaped skirt and a flowing
back panel. A petal head-
piece in royal blue held her
triple tiered circular veil
and she carried a cascade
bouquet of Fuji mums in
two shades of blue.
Identically attired but in
royal blue with lucien blue
headpieces were the attend-
ants.
Miss Stephanie Yan-
icki, sister of the bride and
Mrs. John Craine, of New-
fane, cousin of the bride.
Ann Donring of Lockport
served as flower girl in a
gown like that of the honor
attendant and carried a
pannier basket of blue and
white pompons. John Bucz-
kowski, cousin of the bride,
served as ring bearer.
Ronald Morello. cousin of
the bride, served as best
man with Airman 2 C. Jack
Craine of Newfane seating
guests.
Mrs. Yanicki chose a
brown floral print with
brown accessories for her
daughter's wedding, later
changing to a gold and pale
green metallic crepe ensem-
ble with dark brown acces-
sories. Mrs. Hugo Anderson
of Binghamton. N.Y., aunt
of the groom, attended
wearing a green print silk
sheath with matching jacket
and accessories. Both com-
pleted their ensembles with
yellow feathered mums.
RECEPTION
The wedding breakfast
and reception were held at
the South Lockport Fire
Hall where the octagon-
shaped cake topped with a
gold cross and blue rose-
buds centered the bride's
table.
Following their wedding
trip to Canada, the couple
will make their home at 140
East Ave.
The bride is a graduate of
Lockport Senior High School
and the Doyle Beauty School
at Buffalo. She is employed
as a stylist at the Beauty
by Joanne Beauty Salon in
Lockport The groom at-
tended OCC College at
Oceanside, Calif, and is sta-
tioned at the Lockport AFB
with the U. S. Air Force
