- Lawrence J. “Larry” D’Antuono, 66, of Niagara Falls, NY, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019, surrounded by his loving family at his residence. Born in Niagara Falls, he was the son of the late Antonio and Antoinette (Conny) D’Antuono; and beloved husband of Judy (Mamon) D’Antuono, who he married May 9, 1987.
Larry was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. He began working as a Millwright and Molder at Frontier Foundries for several years prior to its relocation in 1991. He also worked for many years at General Abrasive and the Treibacher Corporation. Larry later retired from Delphi in 2011 after serving as a Millwright.
Larry enjoyed playing golf, and socializing with friends and family. He especially enjoyed vacationing to Las Vegas and bowling in local leagues with his wife.
In addition to his wife of 32 years, Mr. D’Antuono is survived by his children Tina (David) Faccini and Crystal Lovines; step-children, Paul (Stefeny) Cook and Peter Cook; son-in-law, James Lovines; six beloved grandchildren; his siblings, Dario D’Antuono, Antonio (Luann) D’Antuono, Joseph (Linda) D’Antuono, Lewis (Florence) D’Antuono, Rose (Thomas) Dorgan, Shirley D’Antuono Racine, and Jack (Janine) D’Antuono, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by five siblings, Robert D’Antuono, Guido D’Antuono, Mario D’Antuono, Genevieve ‘Jenny’ (late Lawrence) Chiarenza and Olga (James) Allen.
Mrs. D’Antuono and her family would like to thank the staff of Roswell Park Cancer Institute, the Visiting Nurses Association and Niagara Hospice for the compassionate care given to Larry during his illness.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 12th from 3 – 7 P.M. at the M.J. COLUCCI & SON NIAGARA FUNERAL CHAPEL, 2730 Military Road, Niagara Falls, NY, where funeral services will begin on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
