Before an altar adorned with baskets of white aad mixed
mums, palms and lighted candelabra. Miss Janice L Budde became
the bride of Peter J. Quinn Jr.. Saturday, at Ridgewood
Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Edward Kolbe officiated
at the 7 o'clock double-ring ceremony uniting the daughter of
Mr. aad Mrs. Howard Budde of the Bishop Road. Appleton and
the son of Mr. and Mrs. Quinn of the Mill Road
Given in marriage by her father,
the bride chose a gown of
traditional bridal satin and Chantilly
lace. The fitted pointed sat-
in bodice was fashioned with a
yoke of Illusion with a deep ber-
tha of lace edged with a ruching
of nylop tulle, defining the off
shoulder neckline. Long satin
sleeves with lace cuffs and ruching
motif formed points over the
hands.
Her billowing satin skirt, stemming
from the nipped waistline,
was enhanced by a front panel
of lace aad double panels of lace
in the back. Each panel was
edged with tulle ruchlng and the
back panels extended to a full
Cathadral length train. A half
bonnet of lace edged with seed
pearls held her fingertip veil of
imported Illusion and she carried
a cascade bouquet of white roses,
mums and white carnations.
Her only Jewelry was a single
strand of pearls, gift of the groom.
BRIDE'S ATTENDANTS
Mrs. Norma Sweet, Appleton,
sister of tha bride, acted as matron
of honor and wore a strapless
gown of powder blue nylon
Utile, tiered over taffeta
matching nylon tulle stole
mitts. Her matching bonnet was
edged with velvet ribbon tad ate
earned a bouquet of while and
rallow carnations and mums
The ' bridesmaids were Miss
Martlyn Seefeldt of Appieton and
Miss Lois Niles of Gasport. Their
were gowns and bonnets similar
to that went by the matron of
honor in shrimp and Nile green
respectively Their bouquets were
of green and white carnations and
mums.
The best 'man waa Louis Wag
ner of Medina and the ushers were
J. Norman Sweat end Laverne
Budde, brother of the bride, both
of Appieton.
Mrs. Nina Bates, organist,
played the nuptial music and Misa
Donna Wilson, Appieton, was the
soloist.
Mrs. Budde wore a rose beige
lace dress with blue velvet accessories
and a corsage of pink roses
and white mums and Mrs. Quinn.
mother of the groom, selected a
dress of charcoal gray with a corsage
of yellow roses. The bride's
grandmother, Mrs. C w Foote of
Gasport, wore a black velvet
dress with black accessories. Her
corsage was of mixed mums.
RECEPTION FOLLOWS
A reception was held in the din-
ing room of the church immedi-
ately following the ceremony.
Those who assisted at the buffet
table were Mrs. Alice Austin, Gas-
port; Mrs.. Gabriel Chausse Jr.,
Lockport and Miss Nancy Bray-
ley, Gasport.
Out of town guests were from
Toledo, O.,, Niagara Falls and
Buffalo.
For their wedding trip to the
Adirondacks the bride selected a
gray suit with black accessories
and a corsage of white roses,
white carnations and wine mums.
Mr. and Mrs. Quinn will make
their home in Appleton. They are
both graduated of Barker Central
School.
Those who entertained at prenuptlal
showers were Mrs. Lillian
Crutts and Mrs. Mabel Urtel;
Mrs. Elwyn Hyde and Mrs. Robart
Bernecker; Miss Seefeldt and
Miss Niles; Mrs. Joyce Wagner:
Mrs. Austin and Mrs. Chausse;
Mrs. Catherine Collara.
A party was held for classmates
by Miss Nancy Brayley and a rehearsal
party was held at the
home of tha bride's parents
