Miss Karen Ann Rutkowski became the bride of David Frank
Lekki and Miss Sandra Ann Rutkowski became the bride of
Thomas Buehler on Saturday, June 21, in St. Stephen's Church,
Oriskany.
The Rev. John A. Buehler, brother of Thomas Buehler,
officiated at the 10:30 a.m. nuptial Mass and performed the
double ring ceremony.
Escorted by their parents, Mrs. Lekki and Mrs. Buehler are
the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Rutkowski, RD 1, Valley
Road, Whitesboro. Mr. Lekki is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Lekki Jr., 7605 River Road. Mr. Buehler is the son of Paul
Buehler, 1105 Utica St., Oriskany, and the late Mrs. Buehler.
Mrs. Lekki chose Darlene Utter as her honor attendant and
bridesmaids were Darlene Lekki, the bridegroom's sister, and
Kathleen Hemming. Edward Reader served as best man and
guests were seated by James Christman, David Rutkowski, the
bride's brother, and Frank Lekki, the bridegroom's brother.
Mrs. Buehler chose her sister, Patricia Rutkowski, as maid of
honor. Bridesmaids were Jacqueline Mack and Dorothy
Schwind. Donald Kirk served as best mar and guests were
seated by Charles Rutkowski and John Rutkowski, the bride's
brothers, and Carl Burkhart.
After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Lekki and Mr. and Mrs.
Buehler greeted guests at Twin Ponds Golf and Country Club,
New York Mills.
Mr. and Mrs. Lekki honeymooned in the Adirondack
Mountains, and Mr. and Mrs. Buehler honeymooned in Canada
and New England.
Mr. Lekki received an associate degree in music from
Onondaga Community College. Both he and his bride are
employed by the Tradewinds Agency as musicians in the group
"David and Lisa."
Mr. Buehler is employed by the Village of Oriskany. His bride
was graduated cum laude with a degree in speech pathology
from the State University College at Geneseo. They are living at
1105 Utica St., Oriskany
