Patsy Buffone, 71, of 2218 Wal-
nut Ave., a retired employe of
the International Paper Co
here where he worked for 36
years, died today (Feb. 3, 1969)
in Memorial Hospital after a
long illness
Mr. Buffone, who had lived in
Niagara Falls for nearly 44
years, was a finisher at the
paper mill and a member of
the plant's 25-Year Club. He
retired in 1962. The plant has
since discontinued operations.
He was born in Calabria, Italy
one of 12 children. The family
emigrated to the United'States
in 1902 and settled in the mining
town of Sagamore, Pa. In 1925
Patsy Buffone came to Niagara
Falls and raised a family of six
children
He is survived by his wife,
Mrs.
Clara (Sdao) Buffone; four
daughters, Mrs. Norman (Isa-
bel) Hoffman, Mrs. Joseph
(Mary) Figurilli, Mrs. Ignazio
(Margaret) Ognibene and Miss
Frances Buffone, and two sons,
Frank Jr and Joseph F. Buffone,
all of this city; four brothers
Louis Buffone in California, An-
thony Buffone, Deroit, Mich.,
Joseph Buffone, Jamestown,
N.
Y., and Samuel Buffone,
Seattle, Wash.; two sisters, Mrs.
Rose Sdao, Detroit, and Mrs,
Margaret Bernardo in Penn
sylvania, and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services win be held
Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. at the
Spallino Funeral Home and at
9:15 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church
Burial will be in Gate of Heav
en Cemetery
Friends may'call today from
7 to 10 p.m. and Tuesday from
2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m
