Funeral services for Norman F.
Hadley, 67, a Buffalo artist and
founder of the Hadley Display Co.,
will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday
in the Central United Presbyterian
Church, Main and Jewett. Burial
will be in Acacia Park-Resthaven
Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda.
Mr. Hadley, of 50 Greenfield
St., died Saturday in Buffalo Gen-
eral Hospital after an illness of
several months.
Exhibit Business
He and his wife, the former
Marion G. Bulmore, operated the
Hadley Display Co. as a partner-
ship for 34 years. In 1961 he in-
corporated the exhibit business at
631 Fargo Ave. to include a son.
David, and a friend and exhibit
designer, David Johnson.
After completing his art edu-
cation at the Albright Art School
and doing graduate work at the
Art Students League, New York.
Mr. Hadley was art director of
the Werley & Dietrich Adver-
tising Agency and art director
and sales manager of Windo-
Craft Display Service from 1928
to 1932. He bought International
Displays, forerunner of Hadley
Display, in 1932.
Church Trustee
He was a trustee of the Cen-
tral United Presbyterian Church
for 12 years and a 35-year mem-
ber of Troop I Post 665, American
Legion.
Surviving in addition to his
wife and son are another son,
Chief Petty Officer Willard R..
U.S. Navy, stationed at San
Diego, Calif.; two daughters. Mrs.
Warren V. Weber of Penfield;
and Mrs. Richard C. Guenther of
Buffalo; and three brothers, Ray-
mond and Harry Hadley, both of
Middletown, Ohio; and Theodore
R. Hadley of Lockport.
