DEATH CLAIMS R. DUEGER, TONAWANDA ATHLETE
North Tonawanda, March 6 - Death last night claimed one of North Tonawanda's best known young men in Robert Dueger. He died of typhoid fever at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Charles Dueger, at No. 220 Hagen Avenue. Dueger was born in North Tonawanda 21 years ago and had lived here all his life. He was a baseball and football player of ability. As captain and manager of the National baseball nine last season he played first base and led his team as a batter and fielder. He played on the All-Tonawanda football eleven and on other teams.
