A lovely wedding was solemnized Saturday in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Bowen, Pine Woods Drive, when their daughter. Jean, became the bride of Roland E. Metzloff. son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Metzloff. White gladioli, carnations, lilies and palms formed an effective background for the ceremony which was held at 3 p. m., in the living room. The Rev. Craig W. Schwartz officiated in the presence of the immediate families. 1 Mrs. James E. Fuels, who played the wedding marches. gave a prelude of piano music preceding the ceremony. Selections were Traumerei by Schumann; Ich Liebe Dieh by Grieg: 0 Promise Me by DeKoven and the nupital hymn. O Perfect Love. The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a ballerina length dress of white embroidered organdy fashioned with a tight basque, cap sleeves and full skirt. A soft collar outlined the deep V-neckline. She wore a Dutch Cap of embroidered organdy with a shoulder veil of illusion and mitts to match her gown. The bride carried orchids on a white prayer bonk. The matron of honor was Mrs. Albert Reynolds of Bloomfield, N. J. Her gown of white organdy was similar to that of the bride and was worn over purple taffeta. She wore an organdy cap and mitts and carried a bouquet of white carnations and deep purple delphinium. Sidney E. Smith Jr. of Erie. Pa. was Mr. Metzloff s best man. The mother of the bride wore a dusty rose lace dress with a hat of matching shade and navy accessories.. Her corsage was of luberum lilies. The groom's mother selected a navy blue sheer dress with matching accessories and a corsage of gardenias.
A garden reception followed the ceremony from 4 until 6 p.m.
For a wedding trip to Bermuda the bride chose a navy and white Summer suit, a navy and white hat, navy accessories and a corsage of white roses and delphinium. When they return, Mr. and Mrs. Metzloff will be at home in Starin Ave., Kenmore.
Before her marriage the bride was the guest of honor at several bridal parties. Hostesses were Mr.s James E. Foels at afternoon tea; Miss Ann Elizabeth Grainge and Miss Phyllis Cary, luncheon at the Niagara Falls Country Club; Mrs. Herbert E. Moore, luncheon at Old Orchard Tea Room, Mrs. Reynolds, matron-of-honor, luncheon at the Park Lane and a rehearsal dinner given by the bride's parents in the Buffalo Launch Club.

Mrs. Jean Metzloff of 55 Pine Woods Drive, North Tonawanda, was granted an annulment of her 1951 marriage to Roland Metzloff on the ground that he broke a promise to have children., She is permitted to resume her former name of Bowen
