SARASOTA, FL — Shirley Ann Miller, beloved wife of Neil E. Miller passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2012.
Born Shirley Ann Spoor on April 17, 1935, a 1952 graduate of Lockport High School, she was a passionate storyteller and accomplished cake decorator who loved to spoil her family. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who touched the hearts of everyone that knew her.
Survivors include three sisters, Norma Baudendistle of Lockport, NY, Carol (Donald) Hawkins and Marge Schmidt, both of Palmetto, FL; her sons, John (Denise) Miller of Sarasota, FL, William (Michelle) Miller of Ft. Collins, CO, David (Christine) Miller also of Sarasota, FL; and her daughter, Anne Miller of Sarasota, FL. Also, 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. In addition she had 66 nephews, nieces, great-nephews, nieces and great-great-nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Shining Light Bible Church, 8500 Fruitville Rd., Sarasota with Rev. Stephen Schlabach officiating. Friends and family are invited to attend a luncheon following the service to be held at the church. Internment will follow in the Spring at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Lockport, NY.
