EAST WILSON.-Edward Rohring
44 years old, of the Townline
road, six miles south of Wilson, was
almost instantly killed about 9
o'clock last night when he was struck
by an automobile driven by Donald
Weber, of North Ridge, while walking
in the roadway near his home.
Coroner Jacob Hellwig, North
Tonawanda, was stalled and he and
Sheriff Fred A. Bigalow are investigating
the accident today. The
driver of the car said that he did
not see the man walking in the
road until he was too close to avoid
the accident.
Rohring is survived by his wife,
Mrs. Edward Rohring; one son, William,
and two. step-children, Joseph
and Marie Kelly, all at home; his
parents, Mr. and Mrs. William S.
Rohring, of the Townline road, and
two brothers, Harry, of Cambria and
Chester Rohring, of the Townline
road.
Funeral arrangements have not
yet been completed.
