- Rudolph Schultz Dies; Farmer In Appleton Area
Rudolph H. Schultz, 70, of Hoffman road, Appleton, died after a lengthy illness at Veterans Hospital, Buffalo. He was born June 1, 1889 in Germany, but has been a resident of Appleton nearly all his adult life. He had been a farmer most of his life. He was in the U. S. infantry in World War I. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Earl(Bertha) Hurd, Appleton; Mrs. William (Dorothy) Argue, Gasport: one son, Ralph, Lockport; three sisters, Mrs. Louise Jacobs, Appleton, Mrs. Minnie Macintosh, Westfield, Mass., Mrs. Winifred Harrod of Barker; one brother, Ernest, Newfane; also five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends may call at the Hood Funeral Home, Barker, from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 where services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in West Somerset Cemetery, the Rev. Donald Wilson of the West Somerset Baptist Church will officiate.
