Born in Niagara Falls and a 1951 graduate of Niagara Falls High School, Carol began her career as a payroll clerk at Stauffer Chemical Company where she worked for several years. Over the years Carol volunteered for various mothers’ clubs and Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. As a long-standing member for the St. Francis Guild, she served on the Board for several years and chaired many committees as well as working in the gift shop.
A wonderful hostess, she often entertained and cooked special meals for family and friends. She enjoyed traveling, spending family summers in Bethany Beach, DE, monthly dinners with her high school reunion group, and attending Jazz and other festivals in Lewiston.
She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Jadallah (Jerry) Hamam, her daughter Kim E. Hamam, her parents Ralph and Josephine (Magliarditi) Archie, and sister Joyce (late Richard) Massaro.

Carol, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend will be remembered for the joy she shared meeting new people and spending time with loved ones. A devout Catholic, her friends and family benefitted from the many novenas and prayer lists she so lovingly and faithfully prayed each day.
