ATTICA - Marian T. Wysko, a longtime Attica restaurant proprietor, died Saturday in Mercy Hospital, Buffalo. She was 90.
Born Marian Runo in Buffalo, she was a high school graduate.
She and her husband, Edward A., owned and operated Eddie's Town & Country Restaurant on Buffalo Road in Attica, which specialized in home cooking and a friendly atmosphere, according to family members. After the death of her husband in 1957, Mrs. Wysko continued running the restaurant through 1964. The couple also ran Eddie's Schiller Park Grill in Buffalo from 1947 to 1953, when they moved to Attica.
At the time of her death, she was living in ElderWood Village at Maplewood, Cheektowaga.
Mrs. Wysko was a parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Judith O'Neill of Batavia and Christine Perry of Attica; a son, Gary F. of Attica; two sisters, Helen Deck of Cheektowaga and Sophie Runo of Buffalo; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 50 East Ave. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Cheektowaga.
