The marriage of Miss Anna Alex,
daughter of Mrs. Helnarski, to Frank
Piwowarczyk, took place Saturday,
May 23, at 10 a. m., in St. George's
church. The. ceremony was solemnised
with a nuptial mass by the Rev.
Francis A. Qelumbls.
The brjde, given in marriage by
her cousin, Edward Petkewich, was
attired In a white satin gown, made
in princess style. Her tulle veil was
attached to a halo with a spray of
gardenias. She carried a bouquet of
white roses, tUys-of-the-valley and
sweet peas, tied with white satin ribbon.
The maid of honor, Miss Agnes
Wojtowlcz, wore a peach lace gown
with a spray of leaves in her hair.
She carried Talisman roses. The
bridesmaids, Miss Mary Nawrockl and
Miss Josephine Alex, wore blue and
orchid spider-web net gowns/ respectively,
and daisies in their hair. They
carried pink rosea.
The groom was attended by Edward
Petkewich. John Jurecki and
Stanley Alex were ushers.
Miss Peggy Stulpln played the organ
and Mrs. Mary taut*, sang "O
Promise Me" and "I Love You Truly."
i The wedding reception was held at
the bride's home for the immediate
family and friends.
Out-of-town guests were: Edward
Petkewich, of Reading, Mass.\ Victor
Zubka, Lynn, Mass.; John Jurecki
and-Miss Viola Jurecki, of Buffalo;
Mr. and Mrs. Steve Betllk, Mr. and
Mrs. Teddy Setlick and Mr. and Mrs.
M. Setlick, all of North Tonawanda.
