Charles A. Beseth Sr.( 76,
1153 Haeberle Ave., died Saturday
(November 4, 1967) in
Niagara Falls Memorial Hospital
after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Beseth was born in
Liberty, N.Y. and came to this
city 55 years ago. He was an
employe-of the Niagara Mohawk
Power Corp. for 32
years and worked as an electrical
foreman until his retirement
from the company in
1947.
A veteran of World War I,
Mr. Beseth served with the
U.S. Army. He was a member
of the Loyal Order of the
Moose Lodge No. 838 and the
Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his "wife,
Marion P.; a daughter, Mrs.
Marshall (Muriel) Glasgow,"
Lewiston; a son, Charles A.
Beseth Jr., this city; two
sisters, Mrs. Charles (Millie)
Carr and Mrs. Walter (Edith)
Baum, both of this city and
six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be
held at the Gridley Funeral
Home Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
The Rev. Paul R. Swank, pastor
of Zion Lutheran Church,
will officiate. Burial will be in
Riverdale cemetery.
Friends may call from 7-9
p.m. today and Monday from
2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
- The family said contributions
to the Zion - Lutheran
Church Memorial Fund will
be acceptable as tribute.
