RANSOMVILLE. Oct. 24 - Mrs.
Carrie May Collins, wife of Walter
Collins, Ridge road. Ransomville,
died suddenly at the home of her
daughter. Mrs. Fred Voelker. Saunder's
Settlement road. Monday evening,
due to a heart ailment.
Funeral services will be held
Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at
the family home, Ridge road, with
burial in Mt. View cemetery.
Mrs. Collins was born in Pekin
on May 31, 1872. She was a member
of the Pekin Methodist church,
and an active merrlber of the Dickersonville
Ladies aid.
Surviving Mrs. Collins, besides her
husband, are five daughters and a
son, Mrs. Jack Raymond, Mrs. Leland
Scott and Mrs. Fred Voelker,
of Niagara Falls, Mrs. Fred Roberts,
Ransomville. Mrs. Hewert Biggar,
Niagara Falls, Ont, and Earl
Collins, of Pekin; two brothers, John
Newman, Lockport, and Charles
Newman, of the Saunders Settlement
road.. She was a sister also
of the late Mrs. Wilbur Nichols.
Lewiston, Mrs. Howard Bradlee,
Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs.
Frank Cornell, Niagara Falls, N. Y.
