A A HASELEY- RETIRED WORKER DIES
Amos A. Haseley, 83, of 1657 Niagara Ave., a retired Union Carbide Corp. electrician, died today (March 29, 1961) at Memorial Hospital after a long illness. A native of Walmore, Mr. Haseley made his home here for 61 years. He retired from the Union Carbide Corp. in 1951 after 47 years of service with the firm and was employed for seven years by the International Cooperage Co. Mr. Haseley was a charter member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and was a member of St. Paul's Brotherhood, the Golden Age Club, and Niagara Falls Lodge No. 81, IOOF. Survivors include his Widow, Mrs. Louise Haseley, and two sisters, Miss Rose Blumreich and Miss Lucy Blumreich, all of this city. Several nieces and nephew also survive. A prayer service will be held at the Gridley Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Friday with funeral services at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with Rev. Theodore L. Menter officiating. Burial will be in SL Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Bergholtz. Members of Niagara Falls Lodge No. 81 will conduct memorial services at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
