- BUSH - Dale A., toolmaker for GM 4/23/2004
SANBORN - Dale A. Bush, a toolmaker for the General Motors Powertrain Plant in the Town of Tonawanda for 32 years, died Wednesday (April 21, 2004) in Mount St. Mary's Hospital, Lewiston, after a brief illness. He was 64.
He was born in Niagara Falls and lived in Sanborn all of his life, where he attended local schools.
Mr. Bush served in the Air Force from 1958 to 1962.
He retired from General Motors in 1994.
Mr. Bush was a longtime member of St. James Lutheran Church, Bergholz, where he served as a former trustee and usher.
He enjoyed gardening, landscaping, and traveling.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, the former Lois V. Milleville; two daughters, Janet Galvano of Wheatfield and Janeen Schmidt of Sanborn; and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 P.M. Sunday in St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Bergholz. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
