NORTH TONAWANDA - Longtime North Tonawanda resident Rollin R. Mueller, a General Motors Corp. retiree, died Friday in Lakeland (Fla.) Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was 64.
Born in Wheatfield, Mr. Mueller was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School.
He worked at GM for more than 30 years, retiring as an inspector at the Town of Tonawanda plant.
Mr. Mueller moved to Lakeland about nine years ago and was a member of Christ Lutheran Church there. He was a longtime member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in North Tonawanda, where he served as an elder.
He enjoyed golfing, NASCAR and deep-sea fishing.
Survivors include a son, Scott of North Tonawanda; a daughter, Christa Daigler of Clarence; five sisters, Madelyn Holt of Belleview, Fla., Shirley Sexsmith of Palmyra, Pa., Nancy Lange of Grove City, Pa., Judy Janowsky of North Tonawanda and Velma Achenbach of the Town of Tonawanda; two brothers, Gordon of Scott City, MO., and Leslie of Mesa, AZ.; and a granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 A.M. Wednesday in DuBois Funeral Home, 2436 Niagara Road, Wheatfield. Burial will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, North Tonawanda
