Pipefitter
At Hooker
Dies at 44
WILSON—Herbert A. Frerichs,
44. died unexpectedly
Sunday (March 25, 1962) at
his home, 2707 Wilson-Cambria
Townline Road. He had
been a pipefitter at Hooker
C h e m i c a l Corp., Niagara
Falls, for the last 21 years.
Born Feb. 28, 1918, in Bergholtz,
Mr. Frerichs was a son
of Herman and Clara Retzlaff
Frerichs, coming to this
community 16 years ago. He
was married in-, 1939 in Buffalo
to the former Gertrude
Bogumil, who survives.
Mr. Frerichs was a member
of St. Paul's Lutheran Church
and its council here.
Also surviving are a daughter,
Mrs. Howard (Diane)
Krull, St. Johnsburg; five
sons at home, H e r b e r t,
Adrian, Nelson, Thomas and
Richard Frerichs; two brothers,
Lester and Theodore Frerichs,
both of Wheatfield; two
s.isters, Mrs. Clarabel Martin,
Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Richard
(Viola) Parris, Bergholtz;
and a grandson, Glen Krull,
St. Johnsburg.
Friends may call from 2-8
and 7-9 p.m. at the Hamilton
and Clark Funeral Chapel,
where services will be con
ducted by Rev. Clarence Elliott
at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
Burial will be in North Ridge
Lutheran Cemetery.
