SANBORN, N. Y. - The marriage
of Miss Dorothy M. Wittkopp. only
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Philip
Wittkopp. of Lockport road, and Mr.
Donald Wendt. son of Mr. and Mrs.
William B. Wendt, of Saunders Settlement
road, was solemnized on
Saturday. September 19. at 4:30 P
M.. at St. Peters Lutheran church
In Walmore road, The Rev Edward
Graham, pastor of the church, officiated.
Mrs. Harvey Haselcy played the
wedding music and Mr, Paul Mehls
sang "Blest Be the Tie that Binds"'
and "O Perfect Love." The bride,
who was given in marriage by her
father, wore a gown of white bridal
satin, made on princes* lines. Her
attendants were Miss Ruth Belling.
as maid of honor; Mrs. Elwood
Krull, as matron of honor: Miss
Marilyn Wendt. as bridesmaid, and
little Doris Wlttkopp. nelce of the
bride, as Junior bridesmaid.
Mr. Marvin Wendt, brother of the
groom, was best man. Mr. Raymond.
Wittkopp and Bertram Wendt
acted as ushers. .
Immediately after the ceremony
a reception and dinner for 135 guests
was held at the home of the bride
in a tent on the lawn.
Mr. .and Mrs. Wendt have returned
from their wedding trip to
Detroit, Mich., where they visited
relatives. - °
They are residing at the home of
the bride's parents In Lockport
road.
