Short Illness Fatal To Falls Man, 61
A resident of this city almost all his life, Edward K. Blumreich, 81, of 2487 Pierce avenue, died yesterday in Memorial hospital after a short illness. Born in the Town of Wheatfleld. He had been employed by the Dobbie Foundry and Machine company here for 44 years. He is survived by his wife, Lone,one daughter, Mrs. Henry Frerk; two sisters, Rose and Lucy Blumreich; three brothers, Fred, Amos, and Rudolph Haseley, and one granddaughter, all of this city. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm. Thursday at the Otto Redanz Funeral home, 931 Michigan avenue, and at 2:30 pm at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church, Cleveland avenue and Eighteenth street, with the Rev. Leonhard Ludwig, DD., officiating. Interment will be in Riverdale cemetery.
