Jeanette E. Grobengieser (Maslen), age 85, of Sawyer Drive, Wheatfield; was called to her heavenly home on Saturday, November 27, 2008 at the Legacy Health Care Facility, in Williamsville after a brief illness. Born in Niagara Falls, Niagara County, NY on June 21, 1923 to the late Frederick and Jeannette (Robbins) Maslen. She was united in marriage to the late Harold Grobengieser on July 15, 1941. He died December 13, 1985. She was employed at the former family store - Grobengieser and Sons, located at South Avenue and 18th. Street in Niagara Falls. Jeanette was a homemaker and a life long member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Niagara Falls.Survivors include four children, William (Laura) Grobengieser of Spencerport, Marcia (Michael) Burg of Lockport, Janet (Anthony) Tomaino of North Tonawanda and Melissa Piccolo of Fishkill, NY; a sister-in-law, Delores Maslen; twelve grandchildren, William and Richard Gray, Andrew, Zachary and Annah Grobengieser, Jeffrey (Lisa) Burg, Andrea Tomaino, Amanda (Scott) Ranger, Nicholas Houck, Laura, Richelle and Anthony Piccolo; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Gray; three brothers, Frederick, William and Harry Maslen; and a sister, Marie Wright.Friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, December 6th at 11:00 AM in St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, corner 18th. Street and Cleveland Avenue. Interment in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are by the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME
