Lester H. Warblow, 92, formerly of Pine Street, North Tonawanda, died Saturday (Dec. 5, 1998) in Crestwood Health Care Facility, Wheatfield, where he had been a patient since May 21, 1997.
Warblow was born in North Tonawanda. He worked for the New York Central Railroad from 1923 to 1971. He was a member of Local 36, Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen.
After his retirement, Warblow spent much of his time refinishing furniture and caning chairs.
He was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, North Tonawanda, and the Lutheran Laymen's League.
Survivors include a son, David; a brother, Glenwood; and a sister, Arlene Harms, all of North Tonawanda; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Redeemer Lutheran Church, Thompson and Falconer streets, North Tonawanda. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, Wheatfield.
