Ruth Hassan Was Lifelong Wheatfield Resident
WHEATFIELD - Ruth B. (DuBois) Hassan, 78, of Cayuga Drive, died Saturday (March 29, 1986) at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center after a four month illness. She lived in the Wheatfield area all her life. She was the widow of Leonard J. Hassan and sister of the late Mrs. Harry (Minnie) Camann, George DuBois, William DuBois and Edwin DuBois. She is survived by daughters, Mrs. Willis (Lois) Retzlaff, Mrs, Edwin (Joanne) Scherrer and Mrs. Ronald (Sally) Archer, all of Wheatfield, and Mrs. George (Betty Lou) Lozina of Town of Niagara; brothers, Arthur DuBois and Herbert DuBois, both of Wheatfield, and Walter DuBois of Niagara Falls; sisters, Mrs. Herbert (Eleanor) Wienke of Town of Niagara, Mrs. Arthur (Elizabeth) Heuer of Wheatfield, 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Hamp Funeral Home Inc., Adam and Seymour streets, Tonawanda. Services are at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Ghost Lutheran Church, Bergholz. The Rev. Stephen P. Roehrs will officiate. Burial will be in Holy Ghost Lutheran Cemetery, Bergholz. Contributions to Holy Ghost Lutheran Church are acceptable as tribute. Funeral arrangements are by the DuBois Funeral Home.
