- Mrs. Krull, Wheatfield Native, Dies

LOCKPORT - Mrs. Rose Alvina Krull, 72, of 8930 Tonawanda Creek Road, Clarence Center, died Sunday (April 30, 1961) at Lockport Memorial Hospital where she was a patient for a week. She had been ill for a year. Mrs. Krull, wife of Philip H. Krull, a resident of Clarence Center for the last 25 years, was born Nov. 11, 1889, in the Town of Wheatfield She was a daughter of the late Gustav and August Proefrock Schendel. She and her husband marked their 52nd wedding anniversary April 25. They were married at Martinsville, N.Y. in 1909. In addition to her husband, surviving are three sons. Clarence Krull, Lockport, Harold Krull, Sanborn, and George Krull, Columbus, Ohio; six daughters, Mrs. Floyd Fiegel Getzville, Mrs. Harry Bachman, North Tonawanda, Mrs. Herbert Matheis, Getzville, Mrs. 'Elton Bald, Clarence Center, Mrs. Frank Loiars, Lockport, and Mrs. Robert Bugenhagen, Gasport; a brother, Henry Schendell, North Tonawanda; five sisters, Mrs. Emma Krull, Lockport, Mrs. Anna Erick, ClarenceCenter, Mrs. Pauline Johnson, Michigan, Mrs. Minnie Miller, North Tonawanda, and Mrs. Elsie Ordaway, Arizona; 15 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rev. Robert E. Heffrer of First English Lutheran Church, this city, will officiate at services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Lange Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
